Request for a distributed-parallel support #81

Hello dev team, I was woundering if you have any plans to implement distributed-parallelization (https://www.jppf.org/) along with the thread based parallelization since I have a case where I am running MS-GF+ on an HPC and I am having long calculation times (+70 hours) even with 24 cores.

MS-GF+ is open source. We do not have the resources to implement this request, but we would welcome contributions from others who might choose to add this functionality.

I am also looking forward for this feature. This will surely help to speed up the search as having multiple nodes of computing resources but can't utilize them.
