It would be great to have a README.md showing what the Mono Project is about, how to contribute, etc.
I guess for this we need to discuss what the project goals are, for me, it's simple;
For others, it may not be so simple.
There's virtually an endless list of possibilities, so having pre-defined goals are a must.
