List of admin privileges

All of these are possible ideas:

-Ability to ban (by IP if possible) -Ability to restrict number of messages sent in a certain time period -Ability to restrict typing of certain character combinations -Ability to promote others to admin -Ability to silence others -Ability to restrict certain characters from joining -Ability to remove the messages of others

Restricting the number of messages sent in a certain time period isn't possible at the moment because messages don't have timestamps. All the others are good though.

Oh, I'm also heavily in favor of global admin privileges.

Silencing is done.

So right now we have the following:

• Silencing people
• Kicking people
• IP banning people

The 3 tiers of moderation (from most powerful to least) are:

• Professional Wet Blanket (can silence, kick and ban)
• Bum's Rusher (can silence and kick)
• Amateur Gavel-Slinger (can silence)

Also all three tiers can set the chat topic.

We need to discuss whether this is the optimum configuration, and what will happen if we add other privileges. Most notably, if we add the ability to delete chats then it may make sense to have a tier who can ban people but not delete the chat.
