Speaking of deleting resource groups: the HDInsight slides say that you can delete a cluster and the storage will stay behind. That appears NOT to be true if you allow the storage account to be created by the deployment template. I assume that if you want to delete the cluster but keep the storage, you should create a storage account separately (one that is not part of the resource group created for the cluster) and specify that storage account when creating the cluster rather than allow the template to create a new one. We need to update the slides accordingly.
