One of the things you want to do is make the repository for AWESOME OCIM citable. I have never done this myself, so for starters, I suggest reading https://guides.github.com/activities/citable-code/

FWIW, I have now been through the instructions above for my own repositories. It is pretty easy to do and I think you should do it sooner rather than later :) It should take you less than 15 minutes to follow the instructions in the link above, and then anybody will be able to cite the AWESOME OCIM software.
