[FR]: Add ability to set non work time or skip days #550

Describe the feature you wish to make a request for

Hi Malene,

I was wondering if it would be possible to add the feature from the app, where you have the ability to set non work time and skip days when using auto schedule.

The specific reason I'm looking for this is I have an older model Landroid, that does not support the "Party Mode" feature. When I need the mower to not mow, I will go in the app and skip the day(s), and then, when I want it to mow again, I un-skip it in the app again. But of course, it would be much simpler if I could do all that with a call to Home Assistant (maybe you could even encode it in the Party Mode switch, if the device does not support real Party Mode? Just a thought, I can do without đŸ˜„)

There's a service that can set the schedule, if the mower is on Manual Schedule, but that will not work if it's on Auto Schedule, and as far as I can see there is no way to switch from auto to manual or vice versa from HA

I'm not sure it'll be possible to implement this, as I don't think there's an API call for this. I think this is somewhat calculated in the app

Darn... What about enabling/disabling auto schedule?

MTrab commented 5 months ago

Perhaps that could be achieved, but not sure how. And it'll be some time until I get to look into this. Alot of other tasks have higher priority

I just realized, I can still use the Time Extension slider, even if I'm using Auto Schedule in the app. If this is set to -100%, then the mower won't mow. I'm quite happy with just using this as a mock Party Mode, making my Feature Request redundant.

If you want, you can close the FR, if you want you can keep it open. So much freedom :-D
