Is it possible that the input and output ports of both cooling towers are switched?
At the moment the steam goes into the black/blue pipe which goes into the ground and the water comes out of the red pipe which moves upwards into the tower.
The cooling towers in the game have nothing to do with the real ones. The real ones cool the hot water with air. In the game, steam condensation occurs and such installations are called condensers.
Issue description
Is it possible that the input and output ports of both cooling towers are switched? At the moment the steam goes into the black/blue pipe which goes into the ground and the water comes out of the red pipe which moves upwards into the tower.
Looking into the schematics of cooling towers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooling_tower#/media/File:Counterflow_diagram.svg it would make a lot more sense if the (hot) steam is pushed into the red pipe which moves upwards and the (cool) water is collected from the bottom pond.
Solution: Switch the steam and water side or rotate the model by 180°.
