Version 1.0.3 #53

Looks like 1.0.3 was released today and in turn breaks FF8_demastered https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1026680/view/3082153427217589323 ksnip_20220202-135039

As mentioned else where you can downgrade back to the previous version. Here is the command you will need for the last working version once in the console: download_depot 1026680 1026681 4157301451902440309

Depot download failed : Manifest not available.

I checked, the app id is actually 1026680, but fixing the app id in that command doesn't seem to work either, so it looks like I just need to disable demaster until it gets updated :(

Steam broke the ability to download old versions, inside of steam. There was a third party tool on github that could be used to download old versions. Though I never used it someone on Discord did. I just made a backup copy of the version that works before the patch downloaded.

Downloading the old version world on Linux, so not sure what to tell ya. :shrug:
