Could you review and/or pass this pull request, however also to keep this branch? Could we also transfer code ownership to the group account or someone else?

Hi Bakha, with so many changes not sure when I could find time to review this. @daly-h, and I believe also @energynumbers, can modify CODEOWNERS or force the merge through. Ideally CODEOWNERS should be adjusted to reflect the review system in place. It can also be deleted and certain number of reviews can be made required instead.
