Have a quick way to edit and customize the piratebox main page (or add more pages) quickly for non-advanced users.

Creating an easy Customization of webpage isn't that easy.

The main problem is, that droopy is the entry point. It does not belong to any scripts. I created yesterday the possibility to modify the shoutbox from outside... better you can include your personal html-stuff. With this, you can add the pyForum link.

My dream is a nice webfrontend based on javascript ( overall the shoutbox should be a lot smoother). This can only be realized with lighttpd (or any other) as webserver. My lighttpd conecpt works, but my selfwritten pseudo-droopy is creating to heavy load which causes the router to reboot :( .. so there is still stuff to do.

I thought it would be a good idea, once I actually get my hands on my PB, I might make some Tutorials on the Forum on how to do some basic customization (colors and symbols and such). I will keep you updated, it may take a while as I am NOT familiar with Python or droopy.

ok. But don't too much effort in it. My personal milestone is switching the welcome page from droopy to lighttpd-served page - and droopy is only the "upload-slave" ;) The need of other the new shoutbox-package, security fixes and other request let the lighttpd development stall :(

Currently- in my vacation, I'm pushing my work on PB with forban and meshed networks.
