Ever since I started using Linux 8 years ago and SSR respectively, I was told that "Monitor of..." was microphone and "Built-in Analog Audio" was the actual sound that you can hear from the speakers. But I just discovered it's the other way around. Either it's a bug or simply mislabeled functions. Bc I just recorded with "Monitor of Bult-in Analog Audio" selected and it recorded the sound from the desktop, meaning the sound as it comes from the speakers. But if I switch to "Built-in Analog Audio", I can barely hear the sound, there's a lot of background noise, just like when you record from the microphone.

If there are any logs that I could provide, pls tell me where they are and I'll attach them here.
