[Plasma][Wayland] SSR is broken #1008

Wayland is becoming the default with next Plasma 6, and it's already with GNOME. On Plasma 5.27.5 with Wayland, the app is totally broken and not usable at all.

I was sad to find that wayland is not supported with 0.4.4-3 found in the new Debian bookworm

My understanding is wayland is here to stay and will be the default soon.

@ MaartenBaert I would like to personally thank you for sharing your code. Perhaps you could give us an update on where this is headed and if there is anything the community might do to support your efforts?
