I love this app. So I was wondering what you thought of for this as an icon for it.

IF one of these is choosen I would prefer the first one… It would be easier to scale it down to be an icon in the status-area and in any kind of menu we have among the different desktop environments…

But if I am honest… The current icon with an additional “record”-symbol in one of the free corners which could dynamycally replaced in status-areas by an “on air” sign when recording would be my real prefference…

An “S” is simple, yes, but it could be for anything, the same goes for your red light in the upper-right…

Different people want different icons, I can never satisfy everyone. So I picked something simple and generic that would fit well in almost all situations (light/dark background, readable at small sizes and all that). If you don't like the icon, you should change it in your icon theme. The file names are simplescreenrecorder, simplescreenrecorder-paused and simplescreenrecorder-recording.

Sorry,

Was trying to create an icon that displayed that it is a screen recorder. Otheriwse when I see SSR icon, it doesn't communicate a screen recorder.
