Scrot-shot_2022-08-06_at_02:00:02-PM Not sure what happened but the tray icons stopped being displayed after awhile although the left / right click functionality is still there, maybe an update or something I've done has stopped it working correctly. Removed ssr then reinstalled, rebooted then purged and reinstalled to no avail. In the log it states: 2022-08-06 13:35:00.499 (S) QSystemTrayIcon::setVisible: No Icon set I'm running Mint 18.3 Sylvia 64bit Kde plasma 5.8.9, Kde plasma frameworks 5.36.0, Qt version 5.6.1 kernel 4.15.0-142 generic (old dist I know but It's very comfy) if more info is required please let me know.

I have a very similar issue using linux Mint 21 (Cinnamon 5.4.9). My system info: https://termbin.com/fsog. The tray icon has become an "error" icon:

Here's how it looks with the default Mint-Y icon theme:

Not sure how to get to SSR's log file. SSR version: 0.4.4.

Logfiles are here on my system: ~/.ssr/logs

Running it from the terminal with the logfile switch: simplescreenrecorder --logfile=/home/username/.ssr/logs/startup.log Scrot-shot_2022-08-16_at_07:46:57-PM
