Hi this is Ariel, I have a concern to make as to why when I join the among us app it kicks me out automatically and makes me go to regular among us pls tell me why that's happening ASAP and what I should do to stop that because I can't play despite me already making the app among us folder thing.

It still doesn't let me join in Among Us Jester file app even though it's loading it just goes out and connects to Regular among us.

Hi Ariel.

Sorry to hear you've been having issues with Among Us. I'm a bit confused as to what's you mean with 'among us app' and 'regular among us'. This is a plugin for an Among Us private server, and not a client that runs among us itself (as you might well be aware). Could you maybe be a bit more clear as to what's going on?

Is it maybe that you're running the server and then get kicked when you try to connect to it? In that case, I'd think it would be an issue with the Impostor private server, since this (jester) plugin doesn't have any functionality that can kick players. But I think I might need a bit more info to understand what's going on, could you maybe explain what you mean with among us app and jester file app and regular among us?

I mean when I joj the Among Us.Exe file that I renamed Jester Among Us and go it out of the file as one of my computer apps when I join it's loading then it kicks me out of the game and connects me to Regular Among Us on Steam. Is there some additional step I'm supposed to do!

I don't think those are the correct instructions for installing the plugin, if I'm following what you're saying. Could you maybe try to follow the instructions on in the readme? (the frontpage at https://github.com/Maartii/Jester). You shouldn't have to modify anything about AmongUs.exe or the client, and you need the Impostor private server at https://github.com/Impostor/Impostor .

Can we do a call so you can tell me how to do it I tend to do better verbally than with instructions.

I don't mind you asking, but I think that if you're going to run a private Among Us server, it would be more helpful in the long run if you would learn how to do the configuration yourself. Maybe one of your friends could help you with following the instructions in the readme?

I'm the one teaching them how to do the modd after I learn how to do them
