tv wont turn on after sleep. device section empty. #284

using the LG c1 on hdmi and pc monitor on DP, the LG tv wont wake or turn back on. i have to use the remote again to turn the tv on. device section is blank every time this happens but fills in again upon hitting refresh. any clues?

You can try the "To custom" button which will convert the automatically detected device to a custom one. That way it should stay selected in the device section.

same thing happening to me, windows 11 latest version and lg c2 with custom ip.

So I finally got it working semi properly with occasional let downs. There's a tooltip showing you to ONLY choose one set of those check boxes i.e. power on and off with windows etc. uncheck everything else. It's not clear to do that tbh but between that and the tip from the dev to use "to custom" it's working well enough considering it's free software and this guy's doing it in his spare time.

I will try that, I had all the boxes selected lol. Was using LG tv companion for it meanwhile since it works flawlessly and color control only to control the brightness.

Update: I toyed with the switching of letting windows power settings on/off checkboxes on and disabling the others. Finally it works well when I check all checkboxes except 3: Power off when screensaver activates, both use windows to power on/off Thing is, I did all multiple times before posting my comment... tried rebooting, etc. Maybe it's a combination of things.

original comment: I am also having this issue. My C3 will turn off ok, but will not turn on when i hit enter or wake pc in any fashion. My pc is connected via ethernet only and my tv is on wifi only. Maybe irrelevant since the power off feature works but who knows... However the ColorControl LG Controller is emptied out, I have to hit refresh once I turn the TV back on manually. Just giving a few hints maybe, I don't know. Please help :)

Still having issues, it doesnt wake up the computer after restart or sleep. Im gonna use this app mainly to change brightness and lg tv companion for the wake up\sleep feature since it works flawless

I just switched to the LG companion and it just works, its also much simpler
