This was a known issue with 9.7.0.0. What version are you using now? Btw, you can always manually disable/remove the task via the WIndows Task Scheduler.
I'm on 9.7.2.0 and that's the only version I've ever used.
Thanks for the tip about Windows Task Scheduler! If this ever happens again, I'll be able to look in there and see if there's anything noteworthy about the task before disabling it.
If I uncheck
Automatically start after login
, close ColorControl and then start it again, the checkbox is checked when the program starts. If I uncheck it, then restart my computer, ColorControl starts automatically starts when I log in. If I look in the UI, the checkbox is checked.
This means it's currently impossible to turn off
Automatically start after login
.UPDATE: After unchecking
Automatically start after login
after the first restart where it didn't work, the next time I restarted it stayed unchecked and ColorControl did not start after login. I'm not sure what caused it not to work the first time or what could have changed to make it work the second time other than the restart.
