Getting the following error trying to activate Motion Pro on LG C9 after firmware 05.30.45:

Any ideas?

It could be that LG finally patched this workaround in this latest firmware update, it came out last week I believe? My C9 hasn't been updated yet. The 500 Application error is an error that is returned by the LG webservice, so it could be that it is now blocking these request (setting configs). Other changes like OLED light/brightness are still working as they should?

That`s unfortunate, Motion Pro was such a killer feature. But yes, changes like OLED light/brightness still working as they should.

is there any chance to get this back working?

I wonder what happens when you've already activated OLED Motion Pro and then install the update?

Also i wonder if you can delete the update. I've deactivate autoupdate but everytime i power on the TV the update messeage appear. So it's only a matter of time when someone in my familiy accidentally installs the update.

Saw your post while looking for info on the LG OLED55C9PUA firmware 05.30.45 update. I too do not autoupdate, anything, ever. As to your question about 'deleting' an update, see the links about 'rolling back' an update.

I've done a lot of research on this and fyi, it's a pain, and potentially lethal to your TV. Anyways, here's the links. Good luck!

I wonder if the update also deactivate already activated OLED Motion Pro or it's only stop the user from activate it?

By the way: 05.40.35 just dropped. But I don't think the new update changed anything with the OLED Motion Pro Problem or am I wrong?
