Windows constantly changing Display1 and 2... #354

Windows is such a piece of crap that is constantly changing my Display1 and Display2 whenever it feels like it.

Sometimes Aorus FV43U is Display1... and sometimes it is Display2.

Sometimes the NexiGo Aurora is Display1... and sometimes it is Display2.

Would it be possible to identify the displays by name instead of just 'Display1', 'Display2' and 'Primary'?

To top it off, then the displays are suddenly detected as 'Display6' and 'Display7'... because why not.

Like I mentioned in your other issue, I will try to find a better way to identify displays. The handles currently being used are way too volatile and a simple reboot could change them.

This problem should now be fixed with v9.9.0.1.

All seems to be working ok now! 👍🏻

Quick question: what are supposedly the top quality Dithering settings for 2160p 12bpc? (just checked the other answers, I guess the "2 below your bpc" rule still applies...)

Please do the "Set primary" feature next... 🙏🏻
