Can't connect LG A2 on webos 13.30.80 #397

It's connected on same wifi and not connecting automatically or manually

What I tried:

made all pc networks public & also watched some videos and adjusted network settings Tried wireless and wired Mac & IP address Tried hdmi 1 and 2, and also without hdmi

Hotel mode is not on Tried ssdp on and off

Any ideas what I do? I'm trying to activate freesync or g-sync, if someone can let me know even if that is possible in a first place.

Can you ping the ip-address of the TV from your pc? Or you can try navigating to https://ip-address-of-tv:3001 with a browser and see what happens?

I connected it it was firewall... But I played with some settings and picture is really bad and I can't find way back, is there a reset button for default settings?

Maassoft commented 3 weeks ago

You can always reset the picture settings from the TV itself.

How can I reset things on TV if they are not even available from TV menu? btw I tried g-sync and I think its not working, looks like only freesync work from what i've heard.

I meant resetting all the settings for a specific picture mode. I think you tried to enable "VRR & G-Sync" or "AMD FreeSync Premium"? If the TV doesn't support it nothing should have changed.

No I tried changing other stuff too like contrast brightness and backlight, I did put it back to default as I understand but right now TV for some reason has much worse color gradient and black crush, before it was much smoother I'm very detail oriented when it comes to things like this, when scene changes from light to dark I can clearly see tone to tone and dark to bright transitions, its not smooth at all. Can some setting be causing this?

from what I remember I changed black level to 50 it got dark and than I tried 70 and than 0 and TV got fully black and it was not changing, so after that I started changing brightness/backlight and contrast and somehow got back to what seemed like default but this gradient and black crush are very prominent. That is why I asked for reset all settings from software, because I already tried reset from TV but nothing changed.
