CC no longer starts automatically with windows (11) #401

Hi. I have used colorcontrol now since i bought my LG C2. From the last 2 updates the program does not automatically start with windows. I have it installed as a service but i need to manually start the .exe file everytime i reboot or turn the pc on after being off.

I have also tried adding the .exe file to the windows startup menu following guides on this but nothing seems to work. There is no option inside the program/exe file itself to check to enable CC when windows starts.

Any idea what i can do here? And yes i have tried reinstalling (or well deleted everything and doing it all over) but i still cannot make it autostart when windows starts and this is annoying since it no longer turns my TV off when i turn off the computer if i forget to manually start the .exe file everytime i log in to windows.

Normally you only have to activate the "Automatically start after login" toggle on the Options tab page. Is that turned on? This should add the task "ColorControl" to the Window Task Scheduler.

I am a new user who just started using 10.0.0.1. I have CC running as a windows service starting at login minimized. The issue I am having is that when using the Nvidia Controller to apply a color profile that is set to 'Apply on startup', I have to physically open the application window at least once to get the profile to apply. The app is running in the task tray, but only opening the window sets the color profile. Any ideas?
