We now have two files for labels, one corresponding to dash labels and the other to camelcase labels:
https://semanticscience.org/ontology/sio-subset-dash-labels.owl https://semanticscience.org/ontology/sio-subset-camelcase-label.owl
will that work?
Yes, but we will need to update imports in a few ontologies.

Having the same issue, any news on this?
@k00ni - sorry, can you be more specific what problem you are facing?
I crawled https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LA3D/ammo/main/development/ontology/ontology.ttl
(https://github.com/LA3D/ammo) which references http://semanticscience.org/ontology/sio-subset-labels.owl
using owl:import
.
Calling http://semanticscience.org/ontology/sio-subset-labels.owl
redirects to https://raw.githubusercontent.com/micheldumontier/semanticscience/master/ontology/sio/release/sio-subset-labels.owl
, which shows a 404: not found
message.
I am not sure if this redirect is outdated/deprecated or still valid, but fails to redirect correctly.
ok folks - i just added back the sio-subset-labels.owl file, which is just a copy of sio-subset-dash-labels.owl
We really do still rely on the camelcase labels for a lot of projects. Why are there issues in maintaining it?

what are you asking for?
We came to an arrangement around 2016 or so to have sio-subset-labels to use "first word capitalized" camelcase labels (MaterialEntity) for class URI local parts and "first word lowercase" (hasComponentPart) for property URI local parts. This is standard notation in many programming languages and matches the conventions used by W3C vocabularies and ontologies.
Thanks, Jamie

do you mind if the file would contain both label types? i also now plan to create a release file that includes all 3 identifier schemes, along with the mappings between them. would you want that as the default labels file?
That's probably fine, although "browsing the hierarchy" in Protege probably will look odd.

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but the labels subset is missing from github and the redirect from semanticscience.org still points to the orginal github repo. Please update or advise, we still have projects that aren't ready for numeric URIs.
