Could not find org.altbeacon:android-beacon-library #270

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a "hello world"-App
  2. Add the library
  3. Change compile to implementation in the build.gradle file of the package
  4. run "npm run android"

Expected behavior

Run the App

Actual behavior

I get the following error: > Could not resolve all task dependencies for configuration ':app:debugRuntimeClasspath'. > Could not find org.altbeacon:android-beacon-library:2.16.1. Does anybody know why? I already change "compile" to implementation in the build.gradle file

I am recommending to use https://github.com/JanSneeuw/react-native-beacon-radar
