Word cloud like artist display #29

Recently I tried n7player for Android and was really impressed with the word cloud artist display it has. I've got several hundred artists in my collection and while not perfect the word cloud in n7 makes it much much easier to find artists. The pinch to zoom into albums is great though the lack of labels make it frustrating attempting to track down albums once zoomed in. Especially without album art. This would perhaps be useful in the web client as well.

I really like this idea as another way to discover music from within the Android client. I completely agree that the current Android client is rather frustrating when trying to find a specific album or artists, especially if your collection is disorganized or full of videos. Search or recently added/played are my most used discovery tools and I always long for something more effective at finding music in my colllection.

In regards to the web client, my goal is to eventually replace the frame style interface in use for something more HTML5/modern - drag and drop, shortcuts, fast /desktop like, back button support, etc. To reduce confusion let's try to keep the Android/web client UI discussions separate since they are literally two completely separate code bases... unless there is talk of some shared Web client / HTML interface for Android.
