Bandwidth/Lag Issues #174

Recently one of the servers I play on disabled modular powersuits because they had identified it as the source of a LOT of lag on the server. I can vouch that now that they have removed the mod the server is a lot less laggy. After doing some research through google I found another server called skcraft that has reported the same issue. According to this post (http://skcraft.com/threads/modular-power-suits-removed.1524/) modular powersuits was increasing the bandwidth of each player by 5 times. I really hope you can figure out what's causing this because I LOVE your mod and can't wait until the issue is resolved and my server can reenabled the mod.

I've made a lot of network optimizations in the past week or so. Update the mod.

Is it possible to apply this as a server side fix? or will my players have to update? we use FTB ultimate. thanks for the great MOD BTW

It looks like you have moved forward quite some ways from the versions of MC and FML that FTB Ultimate uses. anyway we could have a patch for the version included in the FTB Ultimate?

since this is a size-able bug/flaw we(the FTB community) can only assume by No you mean for us to just uninstall this mod due to this server crippling version included with many of the FTB packs since it is no longer supported. just trying to understand where we should go from here. currently as it is with 40-50 players I'm easily pushing 100mbps upload when this mod is installed.

FTB Ultimate is moving forward to 1.5.1 soon. There have been too many changes since 1.4.7 for me to be able to backport this fix.
