For the sake of map makers mostly, but also available in survival. Place it down, give it power and hold right click on it to charge your armour and tool. You could also add one for health, but much weaker and only works if you have the full power suit on (other energy-based armour sets wouldn't work). They would also have a buffer that slowly recharges when no one is in its chunk (but the chunk is still loaded), so you can only charge/heal so much at a time.
