.sldprt requires SolidWorks which has huge requirements ( 8 GB ) + Windows/Mac ( no Linux/FreeBSD ) + costs for a legal version. No CAD program on Linux can open .SLDPRT files & hence, I've converted them to .step file which FreeCAD ( verified ) and other CADs open properly.
I couldn't convert the .SLDASM files yet. Will do that, but it'd create a naming problem too. So, X.SLDASM → X_ASM.step ?
