Flashlight doesn't work if soft shadows are enabled

Describe the bug Probably related to #110

If soft shadows are enabled in settings the flashlight doesn't project any light.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enable soft shadows in settings
2. Use the flashlight
3. No light beam is emitted

Expected behavior The flashlight should still emit a beam even with soft shadows enabled.
