Error when installing postcss-css-variables via npm

I cannot install post-css-variables via npm. Please help

Error Message:

@gabrielaigner This looks like a problem with your local setup. Why is it using cygwin?

Can you install other packages just fine?

Please provide your node.js, npm, environment(OS, etc) versions
