unable to install google chrome #123

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.everytime the chrome is downloaded  it fails to install.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
chrome should install and open but it is not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 8.1 is being used. recently upgraded to 10 then this problem started.

Please provide any additional information below.
now i hv reverted back to OS Windows 8.1. but still chrome is not installing 
which was previously available on my system.
