i get to the language screen and the it crashes.

using windows 7 64-bit and latest version of java.

Can you provide us with more info. Also open up your java console http://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml and copy anything that shows up in their when the program crashes.

Also try the dev build. If that is not working then I think its a problem with your computer/java install.

where does the console appear? i do have it enabled
