"plugin.video.abelhas" Resume Feature Improvement

Is it possible to add a resume feature to Movies/TV Series?

Well I've had a try at implementing this but I'm getting nowhere unfortunately.Its out of my current programming skill set :( Its a real shame as IMO this is the only feature that Genesis has that this addon still needs.

I already checked ratotv code about this I think could be easy to "import" the feature. But still haven't time to see it. For me isn't a key feature, so I didn't speed up this ;)

Also minhateca becoming a paid service let me think if abelhas will do the same, and so the hard work with this features will be for nothing as the addon will be unusable to free users...

That's a really bad news :( I noticed the similarities between the sites , are they run/owned by the same people?

I understand you holding back if the future of the site is uncertain.

This would be a great feature, a must have I would say, specially now that all the minhateca clients might migrate to Abelhas. The future is unknown, we might have to wait forever if we want to get news that we don't want to hear.

Only had tested from inside abelhas :P Forgot the library.

plugin.video.abelhas-1.1.0.004 should fix inside and outside.

this seems to working well for me, excellent stuff !! would it be possible, to add the feature so that when an episode is watched to the end, its automatically marked as watched in the kodi library? I fully understand if you don't want to spend any more time on this, considering the uncertainty of the addons future, but thought id ask anyway, this would be very useful with movies as well.

I would have to see some code working on some addon. I think if you install trakt addon, the addon it self will do that.

It definitely works in Genesis without a Trakt account, I've never had an account and it worked just fine with my library

Trakt is out of the question, there is no way I'm advertising what I'm watching to the world.

You can use your trackt account as private, you don't have to advertise what you are watching ;) I use tvshows from genesis on library and lately I don't have marked as watched, will have to check, but without any hurry ;)

FYI I've just tried with the trakt addon and its not updating the watched status with any movies/shows played from the Abelhas addon unfortunately. Ive just tried with genesis (after uninstalling the trakt addon) and it updates the watched status fine....ive definitely not got a trakt account setup in Genesis.

Looking at the Genesis code, when playback stops there are a few lines there about updating the watched status in the library, It also updates trakt but from what i can see they're done separately.

No rush mate, just thought id let u know....the resume feature really is excellent, Ive changed the Yes and No to English now as well !
