echo_functions.bash is usually available in PALUDIS_ECHO_FUNCTIONS_DIR, with a fallback to PALUDIS_EBUILD_DIR.

Make sure that all inclusions actually use that, including the documentation.

This is really an NFC (other than fixing potential issues with whitespace in the mentioned variables), so just merging.
