Hi,

I'm just wondering what the essential differences are between the above projects? What was the reason for developing uPD and what advantages does it have? When would I use one or the other?

I don't know, but, as I'm a novice at programming and Unity, I can't even figure out how to use libpd4unity. Importing uPD, on the other hand, is easy enough, but I immediately get error messages, presumably because uPD hasn't been updated for Unity 5?
