This only occurs using the packaged/bundled installer. I never set that side up, so i don't know the config or settings that have been made. However the normal .jar (as the program was designed to run) works as intended. It puts all files locally, bar your 'RickJames' file that you hacked in that only ever goes into the root directory. See image attached.
User Story
(Reported by Ben Derr)
As a user of Magikcraft client, I expect it to keep it’s files together and self-contained in my home directory or a specific application directory to store my preferences and configuration data
Background
The installer drops files all over my home directory. Not sure if this is intended or not, but I would say it’s not desirable behavior from a user’s standpoint.
Feature Description
The installer creates its own directory:
Linux/Mac:
/Users/username/.magikcraft
Windows:
C:\Users\myusername\Documents\Application Data\Magikcraft
