Open technodrome opened 2 years ago

technodrome commented 2 years ago

Environment: Oxygen OS 11.0.5.1 Magisk 24.1

Steps taken:

Result: Andoid auto still shows up in the list of upgradeable apps in Play

Desired result: Android auto DOES NOT show up in that list

Unable to help you without any screenshoot(s) of your file(s) in the module folder.

Have you even tried to make a fresh setup of the module?

I don't follow - have you actually read my ticket? It is written there: I have set up the app in the steps I described.

Detach is configured according to your instructions - I believe my "steps taken" are very clear about that. Even though Detach cmdline listed 'com.google.android.projection.gearhead' as detached the app still shows up in the Play store as upgradeable.

I am not sure what screenshots you require, if Detach itself reports Android Auto (com.google.android.projection.gearhead) as actively detached.

Sorry for the delay.

  1. Are you sure about the package name for your app?
  2. Did you try to make a fresh install of the module?
  3. If after theses steps it won't works, send here your service.sh file please.

I just tried that and it doesn't seem like it works, I am trying to stop YouTube ReVanced (root method) from getting changed back to the Default YouTube app after a reboot...
