Had just faced the same issue as you, the above link would remove magisk modules without the need of TWRP. You can just use this command:
adb wait-for-device shell magisk --remove-modules
Saved me from alot of trouble.
I'm sure that Pixel 3 would be stuck after install this module, I'm on the May 2020 Android security updates, Android 10. Btw, Can anybody tell me any specific ADB command to recover from boot loop caused by faulty modules in magisk? I don't have any TWRP recovery cuz they haven't support Android 10 devices...
