You have created a red background with, at first, one bill. Everytime a ball hits the frame of your canvas, a new one will appear in a random shade of grey.
As you mentioned in you readme.md, your code is fairly simple, but it still gives me an impression of, that you feel comfortable with coding. Your code is very neat, I guess I would call it, because you have used a class in your code, which I like a lot, since it makes the elements of your code quite clear.
It also seems from your readme.md, that you have thought a lot about what generativity means and especially also the question of "Who is the author?". At first you mention the question who the author is between man or machine, and I definitely share some of your frustrations in questioning whether the program in itself is the author. To me it can sometimes seem like a pointless discussion, since there wouldn't be anything if you took the human author out of the process.
You also have some interesting thoughts about the question of authorship between human-to human., which to me, is a question that is relevant in many areas and always have caused a lot of trouble, and it can be hard to answer.
I've heard about something called CC, Creative Comments., which is an organisation that wants to make it easier to share your knowledge and skills, but still be able to have some sort of control over your work. You can check them out here, if you like. https://creativecommons.org/about/
The only thing that bothers me a little bit, which might not be what you prefer, but I think it would be great if you had filled out the entire screen with you canvas.
