Dark screen after launching, nothing on the rift #1

Hi there, sorry don't have much experience with VR or developing. I have installed all the mentioned software and upon launching I don't see anything on the occulus other than the home screen and my desktop is blank. Can you advise on what steps I should take?

Hi! No problem. There are two versions of the software. What version of Oculus are you using? Kind regards, Magnus

My app version is 1.15.0.392473, oculus is HM-A (model number). I also have the other version of the software (molecular riftv2) installed but couldn't get it to start at all so I figured I have more chance with this version as it starts but I cant get anything once press launch after loading a pdb.
