I responded to the first part of this feature request by developing "SAPI_Unifier" software which is a free software to Unify installed Microsoft OneCore voices and Microsoft Speech Server voices with Microsoft Speech API version 5 (SAPI 5) in Windows. https://mahmood-taghavi.github.io/SAPI_Unifier/
I second that this add-on, if it's going to employ character range analysis, should support more than just latin and non-latin. It should have ranges for Arabic/persian script, indic script, hebrew, CJK, Cerillic, etc, as separate ones. And if you can do anything about the pauses please do.
Hello. I would like the addition to support the synthesizers installed in nvda as add-ons.
Kaplan Pavel emailed me as follow: good afternon Mahmood. my name is Pavel Kaplan. currently i use dualvoice addon under windows 10 with Microsoft english David and Microsoft hebrew voice asaf. the problem is that oficially Asaf doesn't exist as sapi 5 voice, so i had to convert it from onecore voice into sapi 5 voice. so my question is, could you please make a version of the addon which can support onecore voices? also, many people need a possibility to switch between more then 2 voices. i personally need to switch between english, hebrew and russian. many other people need to switch between english, hebrew and arabic. so, is it possible to turn the Dualvoice addon into true multilingual addon? best regards.
