Include metric definition into the JSON-output, so that the user can see or a visualization program can show the exact metric definition.

How should this output look like? Please give an example.

Something like the short metric definitions in the main readme file. On how to exactly include them in the .json-File, that is still an open question. This issue correlates to the issue https://github.com/MaibornWolff/codecharta/issues/3485 in CodeCharta, so it might be a good idea to discuss that together with them, probably.
