The Mods API enable to have the tooltips content to be configured using the standard tooltip panel with the same capabilities as for native visualizations such as selecting what values to display and in what format (text, image or custom rendered); enabling a user to control what details information is displayed when highlighting items in a visualization mod, in a way that is most relevant for its use cases.
In the case of the Pareto, an author must be able to customize the tooltip displayed when mouse hovering a bar or a sector in a bar.
When hovering a marker on the cumulative line, the tooltip can be of fixed content. I suggest to provide only the following info:
