KSP crashes during transition from VAB to launch, Ubuntu Linux

• crashes happen only when I try to launch a spacecraft including the kethane drilling parts, otherwise everything seems to work. Game crashes every time the drilling parts are included
• I could not locate the output log
• tested with only the kethane mod installed, still crashed
• Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS, KSP downloaded from the KSP site, location: /home/nicolasmariotti/Games/KSP/KSP_linux_0_23_0_Mods, ksp.x86 (not 64 bits version)
• Intel Core i7, 4Gb ram, GPU ATI Radeon HD 5800

Hello, I'm a support person for kethane mod! Try reinstalling Kethane. Sometimes spaceport (Or wherever you downloaded your kethane mod) tends to forget files, If not Linux is known to have problems with kethane and KSP. There is no possible fix at the moment, Sorry! :100: We hope you enjoy your mining time if you get any ;)

@KethaneSupport is unaffiliated with the Kethane dev team. There are no known issues with Kethane on Linux. (There are known issues with KSP on Linux, in particular PNG texture loading often needs to be patched by the user.)

Please see this thread for instructions on locating your output log. I'm unable to diagnose the issue without it.

With the thread I was able to find player.log, I send it to you in attachment. No crash folder was generated at the same location.

I can confirm that I'm having the same issue on 64bit debian. note that the vessel doesn't have any kethane parts. pasted Player.log at http://paste.pound-python.org/show/GexQ8skl5FnvjBxW2sS0/
