@Enndamo I'm having a bit of trouble adding this species due to the lack of (or type of) prey and predators given. This information is needed because it is used when deciding what other animals this one will meet. There are three "biomes" that a user can visit (in this case shrubland, savanna and desert) depending on their rank. There they will meet animals, with the first biome having prey, the last biome having predators, and the one in the middle usually having a mixture (but it could be entirely prey or predators depending on availability). I usually try to go for around 3 per biome, but it can also be less if necessary. Could you be so kind and use the /species command to see what animals are available, and then get back to me with around 9 that this species could meet, sorted by how likely they are to defeat them versus be defeated in real life? If there are not enough species, you are welcome to add 1 or 2 extra as well that I could add as seperate species as well.
What is the name of the species?
Lammergeier/Bearded Vulture
What diet does the species have?
carnivore
What habitat does the species live in?
warm (shrubland, savanna, desert)
What prey does this species eat or hunt?
Bearded vultures are scavengers, with their diet mainly consisting of bone marrow (however during the breeding season, they eat carrion like most other vultures). Their diet consists of 93% mammals, 6% birds, and 1% reptiles. Medium-sized ungulates like sheep are the larger part of their diet.
What predators eat or hunt this species?
Bearded vultures are mostly at the top of the food chain (due to being scavengers), but the positioning of their nests make them vulnerable to other birds like golden eagles, griffon vultures, common ravens, and other bearded vultures.
