How do you change the ringtone? #378

I have tried SSHing into the iphone and replacing the phone.caf with a
custom ringtone. But when it plays on the iphone it only plays the first 2
seconds which is the length of the original. Does anyone know how I can
increase the length of the ringtone in the program?

In what folder can i find the phone.caf file? does the phone.caf file have any 
size
limitation? would it be possible to make a custom ringtone with for example a 
50sec.
duration and replace the actual one.
