Maldela / fancontrol-gui

GUI for Fancontrol. It uses the KAuth module of the KDE Frameworks 5 to write the generated config file. Furthermore it communicates with systemd via dbus to control the fancontrol service. If you want to compile without systemd support set the -DNO_SYSTEMD option.

  1. [ ] Nothing at https://build.opensuse.org/search?search_text=fancontrol-gui works on openSUSE (anymore), and no dependency installation instructions exist at https://github.com/Maldela/fancontrol-gui/blob/5bfa8fa9c880db2374c75d2d25107da3926b8f29/README.md#commands-to-install-requirements for cpe:/o:opensuse:tumbleweed. https://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=fancontrol-gui doesn't find anything either.
    1. Although https://github.com/Maldela/fancontrol-gui?tab=readme-ov-file#fedora exists for Fedora, it's a lot to install, especially on a slow internet connection, and wouldn't be necessary if compilation were unnecessary.
    2. Turns out that https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/fancontrol-gui/ exists, which are perfect for Fedora.
