Downloading lone user comments #180

I've been messing around with the user settings but can any of you confirm if I'm able to download lone user comments that are not part of their post?

Because atm I'm not able to download comments of a user from a post that's not there's.

i.e. user A posts a comment in /r/AskReddit thread about What's your fav. song? and replies "yesterday - beatles" it doesn't download that comment

Unfortunately, at this time comments are only able to be downloaded from posts that are extracted.

In the context of your example, if you were doing a user download and Use- A was in your download list; if User-A did not make the ask reddit post, their comments would not be downloaded. If User-A did make the post, all of the comments (up to your selected limit) would be downloaded, including User-A's. If this were a subreddit download and ask reddit was in the subreddit download list, this post and its comments would be downloaded.
