When downloading a subreddit, it says in the log "subreddit is valid" for a long time without anything else appearing. In the task manager I'm not seeing any CPU/disk/network activity, so it appears not to be doing very much of anything. I'm sure it's doing something while that's there, and that's alright. So I'm not saying it's taking too long or anything, just that I can't see what's happening.

After it has found that subreddit to be valid, it might display what it's doing next. I don't know what exactly it's doing, maybe gathering urls to download? But whatever it is, display it with some kind of indication of progress.
