Dear Dr. Davis JT, Thanks so much for assembling the genome of Brassica napus inbred cultivar Da-Ae. However, it seems that the gff3 file of cultivar 'Da-Ae' in NCBI does not to conform to the conventional gff3 format, which poses difficulties for subsequent comparative genomics analyses. could you provide a file that follows the standard format, such as one where each gene contains only one transcript?
Best, Jie
Dear Dr. Davis JT, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Daichunyan, and I am a student working in at NORTHWEST A&F UNIVERSITY. I recently came across your outstanding article titled "Whole-genome sequence of synthetically derived Brassica napus inbred cultivar Da-Ae," which I found to be extremely insightful and relevant to my current research project. Your work on assembling the genome of Brassica napus inbred cultivar Da-Ae has been truly groundbreaking, and I am particularly interested in utilizing the assembled genome for further analysis in my research. I would like to humbly request access to the whole-genome sequence data that you have generated. I understand the value and sensitivity of such data, and I assure you that any information shared will be used solely for research purposes and in adherence to all relevant data protection and ethical guidelines. Furthermore, I am willing to collaborate and discuss any specific terms or conditions that you may require for data sharing. If it is possible for you to share the genome sequence data, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to hearing from you and potentially exploring opportunities for collaboration in the future. Your contributions to the scientific community are truly admirable, and I am hopeful that your generosity will extend to supporting my research efforts as well. Please let me know if there is any additional information that I can provide to facilitate this process. Warmest regards, Daichunyan NORTHWEST A&F UNIVERSITY 13033938433a@gmail.com
