Does it work with JSON-messages that are created from IoT-devices like tasmota?

Currently only plain text MQTT messages like those generated by my WiFi Weather Sensor are supported: https://github.com/MalteP/espweather/blob/279ec498593fb0d06f86d82cdf20e6d4af0f8ccc/firmware/user/push.c#L213
